The “Wolf Kit” Folded Dipole system is designed as a lightweight, broadband, quick response short to regional coverage antenna kit intended for near and mid-range HF communications for a variety of scenarios. This antenna can be configured as a Flat Top NVIS antenna, Inverted “V” for medium to long ranges, or a Sloping directional antenna. Its strong NVIS (Near Vertical Incidence Skywave) capabilities allow for communications over mountainous terrain or in Jungle environments and its full 2-30 Mhz spectrum broadband coverage makes it an excellent antenna for ALE operations without the need for a tuner/coupler resulting in significant system cost reductions. No radial ground plane or grounding is required making the antenna ideal for rooftop or on the fly installations. The entire “Wolf” system with the optional mast is erected in less than 10 minutes. The “Wolf” antenna can be purchased in Tactical or permanent models. The “Wolf Kit” comes with a 5 meter Rolatube mast.
