The Fixed Site Mast is a heavy-duty tubular mast of thick walled aluminum for the erection of ‘permanent’ antennas, either on rooftop or in the field. Wall thickness is 4.2mm and the design is for rugged, long term installation. Mast sections are belled to allow onsite construction of the 6ft. lengths followed by a push-up erection using two personnel. Mast height is 30ft. (9.2m). Weight is nominal.
Non-penetrating rooftop anchors are available for securing the stay ropes and as a base for the antenna mast. These are weighted with locally procured sandbags or cinderblocks. There are multiple techniques for fastening down the mast and a wire antenna and each roof/site determines its own solution.
